Governments around the world are using covid as an excuse to crack down on liberties .. locally in NYC, our Mayor & Governor were transformed into absolute monarchs for about 15 months
This is exactly why I'm personally against any covid restrictions past 2021 (when we thought covid was a numerous piision gas). They're often performative & arbitrary, but there're also discriminatory and targeted acts of destruction. As you clearly illustrated, Singaporean authorities & nightlife haven't vibed, so viola ~~ nightlife gets the iron fist under the guise of public health - thx daddy government.
Covid doesn't just appear when you're dancing or flirting at a beach bar - obviously - but even if it did, where's the right of the individual to make that risk analysis?
